The percent of
experiencing disaster on our country is increasing. One of the most dangerous
disaster that we are facing is earthquake. It’s really grievous since it is not
predictable. But we have to prepare and be alert. Base in my research, as the
Department of the Interior and Local Government says, they have urges other
local government units to participate. This event is not just to test LGU’s
preparedness if it is working or not but they can also train other people to
cope with hazards and reduce vulnerability. We cannot belittle Earthquake Drills because it may help us in the future. By participating, we can save our
life and other people’s life.
Being alert can
be beneficial one day. Since earthquake cannot be detected. And by applying all
your knowledge about the drill then it can serve as your guide if you’re in
such situations.
