What More to Know

Every year, we learn something new. Including on our own several subjects. New year means new beginning and new beginning means new learning. We may encounter new things but as we learn, we get better in everything. Like what we have learn in out TLE/ICT subject, we may passed the first but the second grading was not a joke to anyone. At first we didn't know what HTmL or Exer means but as the time passed by and more lesson are discussed we are able to learn and cope up with it.

We have written blogs too and have given our insights about the activities in our school or anything depends on what our teacher tells us. Like any celebration that we celebrates not just in our school but also in Vigan. We have enjoyed writing and we even enjoyed doing exers even though sometimes it confuses us.

Teaching is the most influential job in the world. Teachers are known to shape the mind of youth and without knowledge no one can exist in this world. Teacher imparts good value in children and turn them into responsible citizens. So, almost every country celebrates Teacher's Day.

Just like they say, our teachers are our second parents. You respect your parents, then you respect your teachers. Being a teacher is hard, we don't know their sacrifices so we should make them feel our love, respect and support. 

Every year, we celebrate Teacher's Day and every teacher assign someone as their little teacher. They assign something for the little teacher to discuss. It is also the time for them to rest because it is their day. 

Intramurals 2019

Just like they say, intramurals is open to all. If you hear the word intramurals what comes first into your mind? Sports, competing and wining right?

Intramurals are recreational sports organized within a particular institution, usually an educational institution, or a set of geographic area. It is about competing with someone in a certain sport. The purpose of intramurals as we all know is that it provides fun, safe and structured play experiences that promote the physical, mental  and social development of a child.
It also teaches sportsmanship and not only focuses on competing. It brings out the best of a child and it helps them accept if ever they lose.

Intramurals is also about enjoying and meeting new people. You can also be more enhance on the sport you will participate. Since if you participate in that sport someome will focus on you or your group and will be able to give you guidance and advice that you needed.

Science is for Everyone

Science is consists of many interesting experiments and things. It is one of the major subject that should be given more attention because it has many branches and it takes time before you truly understand it. Some says that it is hard which is true but it depends on your interest. If you focus more on Science then you will be able to understand it. In Science Month Celebration, everything is all about Science. Students that love science is beyond happy. With their events they will be able to pursue people to love and appreciate the beauty of Science.

This celebration is very important because it not just focuses mainly on celebrating it but also it also can spark the interest  of the students in that particular subject. If you have other interest then it will not be a problem since the events are not only about experimenting but also other activities that doesn't require experimenting.

Know More

An event or program like "Happy Schools Program should be given importance. Since it is launched to boost the efficient implementation of the K to 12 basic education curriculum in the Ilocos Province. There should be more opportunities like this so that teachers will be able to apply their full knowledge and will be able to apply it. It wouldn't just merely about knowing something about that subject but it is about enjoying what you are learning and will be able to apply it. It has sparked many interest of students they weren't aware of. The heart-warming welcome of the teachers as you pass or visit are truly appreciated.

This is very important because it can help you decide on what interest you more so that it wouldn't hard for you to decide on what you want. They were able to help you in understanding what you want to know. And it should be more often because they will awaken the interest of others.

Solidarity Day

For you, what is solidarity? Why is there a need to celebrate such thing?

When you see a group of citizens protesting something on the news, marching in a group, holding signs, and chanting slogans, you know they are in solidarity with each other, or united behind a common goal or purpose.

Any time you express support of a group or the people in it, you're showing solidarity with them. The word is used most often to describe a sense of unity with a political group, a group of striking workers, or people who have been deprived of their rights in some way. You might show your own solidarity by signing a petition, joining in a protest, or simply flashing a thumbs up.

In Vigan, they celebrate World Heritage Cities Solidarity Cultural Festival every September. Solidarity Day of World Heritage Cities is a unique opportunity to put heritage issues on the agenda and to express solidarity with World Heritage Cities. And it aims to strengthen the pride in the city’s history and culture, promote friendship and diversity between countries. Lots of acitvities are partcipated with people.

WIKA: BIGYAN NG IMPORTANSIYA

Dapat nating pahalagahan ang ating sariling wika sapagkat ang wikang Filipino ay sumisimbolo ng ating kultura. Ang wika ay may mahalagang papel sa pang-araw-araw na buhay ng mga tao, hindi lamang bilang isang paraan sa komunikasyon, edukasyon, pagsasama at kaunlaran ng lipunan, kundi pati na rin bilang isang imbakan para sa natatangig pagkakakilanlan, kasaysayan ng kultura, tradisyon at memorya.

Kilala ang Pilipinas sa pagkakaroon ng maraming diyalekto at lengguwahe. Ngunit kung ating ipagdiwang ang Wikag Pambansa, tayo lang ay nakapokus sa wikang Filipino, dapat ay ating din pagtuunan ng pansin ang iba't-ibang lengguwahe.

“Ang hindi magmahal sa sariling wika ay higit sa hayop at malansang isda; kaya ating pagyamaning kusa, gaya ng inang sa atin ay nagpala.” Ito ang tanyag na katagang nagmula sa ating pambansang bayani na si Gat. Jose Rizal na nagbibigay kahalagahan sa wika sa buhay ng isang tao. Isang inspirasyonal na kataga at kapupulutan ng aral tungkol sa pagpapahalaga ng wika.

Nagsisilbi ding paalala ang pagdiriwang ng Wikang Pambansa. Sapagkat sa paraang ito inaala natin kung saan tayo nagsimula. Sa pamamagitang nito ay ipinapaalala at binibigay diin nito ang importansiya ng wika sa atin.

Learn, Discover and Improve

It is all about internet. We all know that using internet we can communicate, learn and discover things that can help us with our everyday life. But then our 1st Quarter, we have learned so many things about it like the history and uses of it. I discovered that my knowledge about Internet is limited. And so about blog, I have learned so many things like different kinds of blogs.

As I have said, my knowledge about this things are limited so I have a hard time understanding it. But then I tried my best to understand it much better so that I will not be left behind. I may not have many knowledge about it but I can understand it by learning it.

With the learning that I have learned, I will try my best to improve everything that I know. Including improving myself so that I will not be left behind by others. I will try to not let myself down if I can't understand things.

THE RESILIENCY

   
          Disaster is divided into two parts which are the natural disaster and human induces. Disaster can be destructive if they want and we cannot prevent it. But we can do something to limit the damage it is causing. Our country is prone to natural disasters because the location of our country and apart from that, some Filipinos are the cause of these disaster to be more destructive. With these phenomenon, all we can do is to prepare ourselves. We can search to know what to do in times of experiencing disasters. In researching, we will be informed on what to do before, during and after a disaster. It can be our guide in such situations.

          There are many ways on how to be ready if disaster occurs. If you research you can know some information that can help you in knowing some facts or tips that may help you. It is also good to test the tips to know if they work or not. It is not good to rush things when disaster is happening. You can also participate in such programs wherein they teach people what to do when disaster happens. You can also do things with your own perspective only. You know what is needed to be done and repaired. It is good to be ready because our preparedness will make us safe one day. But we Filipinos, have this certain habit in where we just leave things as it is. Many lives have been taken due to our carelessness. We should be ready in case of disaster so that we will not only be able to save our life but also other’s life.

Nutrition Month Celebration

In this celebration, it encouraged us to eat correctly and be active. In order to have a healthy lifestyle, you must have this practices like healthy eating habit and you must be physically fit. It will not just benefit you on your desired lifestyle but also prevent you from getting any diseases. Being active can also give benefit to your lifestyle too. Physically fit prevents and control some risk factors for heart disease. Having a physically fit lifestyle can give you the capability to live life to the fullest without worrying much about developing any diseases. Eating well and exercising often will help you stay stronger and have a good healthy life. 

Be Prepared!

       The percent of experiencing disaster on our country is increasing. One of the most dangerous disaster that we are facing is earthquake. It’s really grievous since it is not predictable. But we have to prepare and be alert. Base in my research, as the Department of the Interior and Local Government says, they have urges other local government units to participate. This event is not just to test LGU’s preparedness if it is working or not but they can also train other people to cope with hazards and reduce vulnerability. We cannot belittle Earthquake          Drills because it may help us in the future. By participating, we can save        our life and other people’s life.

        Being alert can be beneficial one day. Since earthquake cannot be detected. And by applying all your knowledge about the drill then it can serve as your guide if you’re in such situations.

Letter to President

Dear President,

        Due to your bravery of putting our country’s safety at first, my admiration and respect for you as our President and as a citizen of our country increases. The way you protect and defend our country is truly admirable. I would like to thank you for all your sacrifices fir our country and for taking the responsibility of leading Philippines. The power that you’re holding over our country shouldn’t be used for overpowering someone. The way you handle our country is appreciated.

        But it is disheartening too see that many Filipinos are having problems due to poverty. There are so many unresolved cases that were forgotten. I am hoping for the betterment of this problems. And we will participate in all of your works. Encourage all the Filipinos in making a change for the betterment of our country.

SAVOR AND REMINISCE

      Freedom is what people have seek for when our country is being colonized by other country. Our heroes have fought hard for our freedom and have risked their life. And with their determination, our country was freed in the possession of Spanish.

        June 12, 1998, where people are freed and now where on the 121^st Celebration of Independence Day. Our heroes have truly given us the chance to freely live again. Then don’t waste your time living on the bad side. Our heroes have sacrificed so much that I’ll be a disappointment if the freedom they’ve work hard for, was not for a good cause. Independence Day is where people savor and reminisce how heroes fight for our freedom. To savor the freedom that our heroes have fought.

My name is Katrina but call me Kc for short. I focuses mainly on my studies but I still enjoy life. It's not that much to know about me but I have hobbies like playing mobile games and learning how to play the guitar. I love listening to music and reading wattpad stories. I'm in love with Fifth Harmony especially Lauren Jauregui. As a student, we are deeply pressured in our studies but we are surviving as a class. I love being alone so that I can do what I want. Like playing music to the max volume and singing my heart out. I don't know what my future is holding but I will do my best to achieve my dreams.
